Qualitas was founded by Managing Director Michael Puttick, after over 15 years in the construction industry in various senior roles, including Construction Director, he decided to focus his energy into his main passion of quality control as a Clerk of Works.

 

Michael as with all Qualitas inspectors are recognised members of The Institute of Clerk of Works and Construction Inspectorate of Great Britain Inc. the leading body for construction quality control throughout the United Kingdom and we believe this is what sets up apart from the rest of the competition, not only locally but nationwide. Michael is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineers following his earlier trade-based career and as such is best placed to inspect and comment on mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) installations, something again that most of our competitors unfortunately do not have. 

 

Managing Director Michael has worked in various sectors throughout the construction industry on both sides of the fence as both contractor and client. He feels this gives Qualitas the edge as he knows what a client expects in terms of quality and finish and also what a contractor should deliver and the standards they should be meeting in accordance with Building Regulations and British Standards. 

 

Qualitas are a truly independent inspection company who only work for you, our client. We do not work for developers or building contractors and we ensure we always have our clients’ best interests at the forefront of what we do. 

 

Unlike many other snagging companies, we don’t only undertake inspections of residential properties we also inspect commercial, retail, educational, healthcare and leisure premises.
